"What We Share," a podcast I produced, is about me sitting down with artists I have come across in my life, discussing their art, their lives, and how they intertwine.
Created in December of 2023, I started the podcast in hopes of forming a creative outlet for myself, and forming intimate and honest conversations and works that expand into audio and film.
Over the past year, I've had the pleasure of having some really meaningful conversations and getting to know inspiring people who make our community. This has made me fall in love and connect with people in ways I never knew I could, and has given me the confidence to continue my pursuit in the world of the arts.
I like to dedicate this podcast to finding connections, telling stories that need to be told, and something to do.
Now About Me,
My name is Chason Marvin, and I love the performing arts, especially acting and producing. It all started for me in high school theater, and I've been exploring this passion ever since.
In April of 2024, I became one of the top four national finalists for Theatre Journalism for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
People often describe me as quirky, creative, hard-working, and maybe a little socially awkward. I see myself as someone who's always looking to grow, connect with others, and express myself through different mediums. Whether it's through a mic, a camera, or on a stage, I have a deep love for the process of true creation.
All of this has made me realize that I'm an actor, creator, producer, and someone who wants to get to know you.
